Brian Braaten, President/CEO Brian purchased Peak to Creek Electrical Group in 2007. Brian's goal was to find a strong electrical firm in the Colorado Mountains to compliment his already successful electrical company, West Electric Group, in Colorado Springs. He recognized this opportunity with the established, well-proven track record of Peak to Creek Electrical Group. Brian brings more than 24 years of electrical industry experience to Peak to Creek Electrical Group's existing management team. Brian is originally from North Dakota and moved to Colorado in 1986 to pursue an electrical career. Brian is an avid outdoorsman and hunter and is involved in numerous community organizations.
David Craige, Lighting Designer David founded Peak to Creek Electrical Group in 1997. A graduate of the University of Colorado with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business, David spent five years in corporate America before losing the shirt and tie to pursue a career in construction as a licensed journeyman in the electrical trade. Now a CLC, he works with world renowned architects providing lighting design and programming of Lutron HWI and Lite Touch Systems in the Telluride region. He brought Peak to Creek Electrical Group into the market as a design/build electrical contractor and in 2000 opened a lighting showroom at the Society Turn Business Center.
Kevin Wayland, Construction Manager Kevin , a Colorado native has worked in the electrical industry since 1978. He began the path in the electrical industry by helping repair televisions with his grandfather in the early 70s. He has held his journeyman electricians’ license since 1986 and in 2002 received his Masters license for the State of Colorado. Kevin moved from Golden to the Telluride area in 1991 and became a partner at Peak to Creek Electrical. Since then, Peak to Creek Electrical has completed over one hundred custom homes in Telluride with great success.
Emory Smith, LEED AP Estimator Emory recently joined the Peak to Creek Electrical Group team as the estimator and purchasing agent for the Telluride division. Emory graduated from Virginia Polytechnic University with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Civil Engineering and has most recently been certified as a LEED AP for new construction. Emory brings past experience working as a superintendent for R.A. Nelson, specializing in commercial resort development. When not working, Emory enjoys the numerous activities that the Telluride area has to offer, with special interest in fly fishing and backcountry skiing.
